A FAMILIAR FACE IN A NEW ROLE AT SFP
If you haven’t had a chance to meet Alison at drop-in story time on Thursdays or at Mother Goose, you will have more opportunities to meet her at SFP in her new role as Executive Director. Alison is transitioning into the position with the on going support of Laurel our outgoing ED. So say hello Alison, and perhaps consider lending your support to both Alison and the Board.
PEACE ARCH NEWS ARTICLE
If you didn’t see the recent (March 17th) front page article in the Peace Arch News about SFP and the story of our denied Gaming Grant for $45,000 please take the time to keep yourself in the know www.bclocalnews.com/surrey_area/peacearchnews/news/87865617.html
We are in the process of contacting our local MLA and the minister in charge of the Gaming grants to see if there might be a way of having this grant reconsidered. If you want to know what you can do to support SFP in this time of financial need talk to Deb, Julie, Alison or anyone of our Board Members when you are at SFP. Or send your comments direct to our executive director Alison ed@semiahmoofamilyplace.com
