“ADOPT A FAMILY” CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Semiahmoo Family Place along with Choices Market are the proud sponsors of “Adopt a Family” Christmas Program. But we need your help to us show our adopted family the best Christmas ever. A Christmas wish list will be posted at SFP as well as copies for you to take and pass along to friends. The list will include: clothing, toys, books etc.
All items need to be at SFP by Dec 18th.
Please bring your item unwrapped.

SLEEP FOR KIDS
Did you know babies, up to 6 months, sleep about 16-20 hours a day? And toddlers aged 1 - 3 years usually sleep about 10 - 13 hours! Children spend a lot of time sleeping therefore it is essential that parents and caregivers understand the importance of sleep.
Why do we need sleep? How much do we need? Having trouble sleeping?
Come join us Nov. 19th and 20th and learn everything you need to know about sleep!

Monday Dec 21st FESTIVAL OF HOLIDAY LIGHTS
Who doesn’t like Christmas Lights, Hot cocoa and caroling? This fundraiser for SFP will be a fun evening for the whole family. Mark the date and watch for flyers at SFP and more details in the coming weeks.


WHY DO YOU LOVE SFP?
BC Association of Family Resource Programs is asking for submissions for their upcoming AGM to highlight stories from families about why they like attending the Family Resource Program in their community. Parents can write a letter, share a story and include poems and photos.
Deadline is November 27th.
Families can be guided by the following:
My life has changed since I started coming to the Family Resource Program because....
I like the Family Resource Program because…
My favourite memory of the Family Resource Program is...
Family Resource Programs are good for children because...
A binder of submitted stories entitled “Parent/Caregiver Testimonials: Why Families Love Attending Family Resource Programs” will be presented at the AGM.
