GREETINGS FROM DOUGLAS COLLEGE NURSING STUDENTS
(Dia and Amer are doing their community experience at SFP on Thursdays and Fridays.)

Here are a few friendly reminders on how to keep the bug stay healthy this flu season.
1. Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently with soap and water. An alcohol-based hand sanitizer is also helpful in killing the germs.
2. Keep your hands away from your mouth, nose, eyes, and ears.
3. Cough or sneeze into your sleeve or a tissue, and throw the tissue in the garbage. Then wash your hands!
4. Stay home if you are not well. You are contagious if you are coughing, sneezing, or even just have a runny nose. Keep away from others as much as possible to keep from passing on the virus.

More information can be found on the BC Centre for Disease Control website: www.bccdc.ca
Wishing you good health,
Dia & Amer
