"How can I promote health effectively and creatively to my children? Making it fun is always a good way to get the children's attention. A good, fun book we recommend is: Dr. Seuss' "Oh, the things you can do that are good for you!" We will have some children's books and DVDs about healthy practices this Thursday and Friday. Come chat with us and get some ideas!

SFP is a Sponsor for a local grass-roots moms network that was founded in
2006 and still going strong! Grow-With-Us-Moms is a Meet-Up group that
organizes and plans live events and activities on-line at

There are new members every week! Please feel free to join!

Every month Grow-With-Us-Moms holds a "Circle of Moms" at Family Place.
SFP offers childcare so that moms can gather in the library while the children
play. (The kids tend to come in and out of the room, and that's ok! Moms
are flexible!) What's new in your life? What are your latest joys and challenges as a parent? Meet new friends and connect with old ones....hope to see YOU there!
