FAMILY A FAIR SUNDAY OCTOBER 28 noon to 3pm at Camp Alexandra in Crescent Beach
From the hilarious antics of Cupcake the Clown, to face painting, storytelling, arts and crafts, and musicians …Sunday October 28 marks the date of Family A Fair, a resource fun fair for families sponsored by the Peninsula Advisory Network. For four years, Crescent Beach Community Services has hosted this fall event geared towards families with children with 0-6. Admission to the fair is free-of-charge and will run rain or shine. All that it takes is a few “loonies” to get in on the bouncy castle, food and selected festivities.
We would also value parent volunteers to help with SFP’s info table, food service and games area. If you can help out at this fun fair, call Susan at (778) 322-1222.

Interested in becoming a relief facilitator or childminder at SFP?
SFP is looking for relief Facilitators for drop-in and party programming, and childminders during parenting groups. These are great positions for someone who likes to work with children, has lots of energy and perhaps needs the flexibility of shared hours. Please contact SFP Executive Director Laurel Tien (ed@semiahmoofamilyplace.com) to learn more about this opportunity to be part of the SFP team.
